Meridian Learning Solutions was founded in Hyderabad, India to change that equation. The Founders' Story: Turning Rote Classrooms into Active Discovery Labs

During years of visiting schools and interacting with educators across Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and regional Telangana, Abdul Adnan and Ashna Mehta witnessed a disheartening reality: Indian students possess extraordinary curiosity, yet they were forced to memorize ray optics formulas, magnetic field diagrams, and chemical equations purely as text to be regurgitated on examination paper.

School laboratories often sat locked up like museum exhibits—either because school administrations were terrified of glass breakages and chemical accidents, or because lab equipment was reserved strictly for Class 10 and 12 board practical examinations. Millions of elementary and middle school children were completing their foundational education without ever holding an optical prism, wiring a simple circuit, or watching an acid-base color transition with their own eyes.
